NCVO Annual Radio/Telethon

The NCVO will be holding its 33rd Annual Radio/Telethon on Saturday 3rd November, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. onwards at the Prospect Playhouse. This popular event will be aired live on Cayman 27 and Radio Cayman.

The NCVO relies heavily on this event as its main fundraiser for donations. These donations ensure that NCVO projects including The Nadine Andreas Residential Foster Home, Miss Nadine’s Pre-school, The Jack and Jill Nursery, The John R Gray Memorial Fund and The Caring Cousins Lunch Support Programme remain in operation. For detailed information about these programmes, please view our website: www.ncvo.org.ky

During the years that the NCVO has served the people of the Cayman Islands we have been dependent upon the generosity of the business community, trusts, and individuals and we hope that this support will continue, particularly given the very tough economic times.

This release from the NCVO serves as an appeal for financial support to assist them in maintaining the aforementioned projects, answering appeals for assistance, and addressing increasing needs throughout the community. Their goal is to raise CI$130,000 to help to fund the projects which in turn allows us to support hundreds of children and community members every year.

They would like to invite you to visit them at the Prospect Playhouse on Saturday 3rd November to present your donation live on camera; please contact Janice Wilson at the NCVO office 949-2124 or email: [email protected] to arrange this.

Alternatively, donations by mail will be gratefully accepted prior to the evening of the Radio/Telethon to the NCVO, P O Box 1140, Grand Cayman, KY1-1102.  Once your donation has been received it will be recorded and your pledge will be announced both on television and radio on the evening of the event. If you wish to remain anonymous please state this preference.

The NCVO hope that you consider this request favourably, as more and more members of our community, notably children (who are the focus of the NCVO’s programmes) are in need of our services every year. Each donation, however big or small does make a difference, so please help us to help those in need.

The NCVO is a non-profit charitable organisation that is dedicated to the care, education and well –being of children and families in need of support in the Cayman Islands.
