Everything Science at Rotary Fair

Students showed their talents at the Rotary Central’s Annual Science Fair on Saturday 26th May.

The Camana Bay Arts and Recreation Centre (Arc) was alive with innovation and a good crowd of interested persons flowed past the exhibits all day.

The science fair is an annual event to foster an interest for Grand Cayman students in science, scientific method of problem solving and the sense of accomplishment and discovery that comes with preparing a science project. Though initiated and financially supported by Rotary Central, the success of the Science Fair would not be possible without the dedicated support of school science teachers, participating students, parents, and corporate sponsors. Rotary Central is grateful for this support.

Rotary Central’s Science Fair is an annual competition held in the Cayman Islands that allows students to demonstrate their science skills and compete for major Prizes to assist them with future college studies. There were also runner up prizes at this year’s event.

The awards were presented at a banquet held immediately after the fair closed at 6pm also at the Arc.
