Rape

A man has been charged and appeared in court earlier today in connection with a rape in the Prospect area.

The man, aged 19 years, was charged with rape. He appeared in court this morning (Wednesday, 24 October) and was remanded to Northward.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, 20 October 2012 when a man fled from the scene in a car after the reported rape of a woman within a house in Prospect.

The man then was immediately arrested.
