Leslie:
Leslie is headed for Newfoundland and is expected to track over the southeastern part of Newfoundland on Tuesday morning. For those of you in Newfoundland, you should be taking today to get ready for a fairly significant impact from the storm. Increasing winds with heavy rainfall are expected across much of Newfoundland tonight with hurricane force winds possible across the eastern half of Newfoundland from late tonight into Tuesday morning. Heavy rainfall is expected across all of Newfoundland during Tuesday with total rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches expected.

Elsewhere:Invest 91L
Elsewhere in the tropics, there are no areas that are expected to threaten
any land masses this week. Invest 91L out in the eastern Atlantic is expected
to become Tropical Storm Nadine this week. It is, however, expected to
recurve right around 55 West Longitude towards the end of this week and
will then track out into the open Atlantic by this coming weekend. Other
than that, there are no other areas that are expected to develop into a
tropical cyclone this week.
91L. SATELLITE IMAGES INDICATE THAT THE AREA OF DISTURBED ASSOCIATED WITH
A TROPICAL WAVE IN THE EASTERN ATLANTIC CONTINUES TO BE WELL
ORGANIZED...AND A TROPICAL DEPRESSION COULD FORM AT ANY TIME. THIS
SYSTEM HAS A HIGH CHANCE...90 PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL
CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS AS IT MOVES WEST-NORTHWESTWARD AT
15 TO 20 MPH.
