Kavak drives forward with new Concacaf Champions Cup partnership

Guadalajara, Mexico (Tuesday, February 13, 2023) – Concacaf and Kavak, the leading used car marketplace in Latin America, have entered into a strategic multi-year alliance which will see Kavak become a key sponsor of the Concacaf Champions Cup (CCC) for the three editions running 2024 through 2026. 

Signaling Kavak’s first sponsorship agreement with Confederation-level football, the partnership demonstrates their commitment to the sport in a region that is known for its passion for the beautiful game.

Kavak’s alliance with the CCC comes at a hugely exciting time for the competition with a full reformat, new visual identity and rebranding leading into this current 2024 edition. The tournament includes the best clubs from North America, Central America and the Caribbean competing across a total of 51 matches to be crowned as regional champion, providing a tremendous platform for Kavak to align its brand with the most prestigious club competition in the region.

Headquartered in Mexico, Kavak will use their extensive reach to engage with fans and stakeholders and support Concacaf in elevating the CCC to new fans and audiences. The 2024 edition provides a tremendous opportunity for fan engagement with some of Mexico’s biggest clubs participating in the tournament, including Club America, CF Monterrey, Chivas Guadalajara, Pachuca, Tigres UANL and Toluca.

The Concacaf Champions Cup, formerly known as the Concacaf Champions League, is a prestigious annual continental club football tournament organized by Concacaf. It showcases the best 27 clubs from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean competing from February to June each year, across a total of 51 matches, to be crowned as the Concacaf club champion. In addition to the regional crown, the CCC winner also qualifies to represent the Confederation at the FIFA Club World Cup.
