“I thank Austin for his years of service, but it is time to take Cayman Crosstalk in a new direction. We have been exploring our options on how to broaden the show’s audience and influence. We want Crosstalk to grow and become even more relevant in the in the coming months and years,” Mr. Merren stated.

Starting Monday June 1st , Woody DaCosta will be in the Crosstalk host’s chair on an interim basis. Since it’s inception 13 years ago, Cayman Crosstalk has always led the discourse about the Cayman Islands future. Government, business, and other Cayman Islands thought leaders have always sought to reach the station’s broad audience. “We shall miss Austin, but we are pleased to have someone of Woody’s experience take the microphone,” said Mr. Merren. “His combination of private sector and public service experience will be a valuable asset to Cayman’s most important radio program.”
