Deutsche Bank appoints new Chief Operating Officer in Cayman

Sophie EbanksSophie Ebanks has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Deutsche Bank in the Cayman Islands.

In her new role, Sophie will assume responsibility for an extended range of operational activities and services within Cayman, including the management and oversight of the Bank’s local infrastructure and premises.

With a twelve-year history with Deutsche Bank, Sophie joined the Cayman office in 2003 in a marketing role within its Financial Intermediaries business area. In 2006 she moved on to become a Relationship Manager and six years later she was appointed as Head of Booking Centre Services for the Bank’s Asset and Wealth Management (AWM) business area in Cayman.

Janet Hislop, Chief Country Officer of Deutsche Bank in the Cayman Islands, commented:

“I am delighted to welcome Sophie, a hugely experienced member of the team in Cayman, into her new senior position at the Bank. Having worked across the Bank’s business areas and in a range of roles within Cayman, Sophie is uniquely placed to understand the operational environment we work in. Her experience and knowledge will undoubtedly prove invaluable to the Bank in her new role.”
