ABOUT THE CAMP: CNCF offers a Summer Arts Camp annually for youth ages 7 to 16 years old. Children 6 years of age may also attend if an older sibling is registered. Campers get involved in a variety of artistic and cultural activities such as drama, storytelling, dance, music, thatch plaiting, food art and other arts and traditional craft projects, depending on the camp theme. Children also enjoy a field trip to a site of cultural and historical importance or visit a sister organisation for an interactive experience off campus. Summer Arts Camp takes place at the F. J. Harquail Cultural Centre in August, from Monday – Friday, 9am to 1pm (8am – early drop off). Subsidised by the CNCF, the cost for attending the camp is $170 per child for 10 days with light snacks included (to attend for one week only, the cost is $100 per child).

REFRESHMENTS: One break of 25 minutes is scheduled. Juices, water, sandwiches, patties, fruit, cereals, veggies and dip, cheese and crackers and other light foods are included in the camp fee. Campers may bring their own food also. Refrigerator and microwave available.

STAFF & VOLUNTEERS: Camp Manager, professional instructors, kitchen staff, camp assistants and interns work with campers daily. Programmes Manager and CNCF staff are also on site and available, in the CNCF offices.

PAYMENT: CNCF accepts all major credit/debit cards, cheques and cash. Cheques should be made out to CNCF and can be mailed to P.O. Box 30201, KY1-1201 or brought to the CNCF office during office hours. Please note that CNCF will not accept post-dated cheques. If you are registering three or more of your children for the summer arts camp, please let us know as we do provide a 10% discount.
