WHAT: The National Trust for the Cayman Islands has revamped its planned Earth Month events to factor in the island lockdown due to Covid-19. The National Trust would love to see participation across all three islands in support of our beautiful and unique environment. We hope National Trust members and general public have some fun with our two digital events in celebration of Earth Month.

WHEN:

Wednesday 22 April- Earth Day

On Wednesday 22nd April please help us celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day. If you have one of our Earth Day T Shirts from previous years, please wear them to show your support of our environment.

We encourage everyone to take a photo holding a piece of paper with #Earthday #IstandwiththeNationalTrust written on it.

25th April- Earth Month Clean Up – From Home

The Chamber of Commerce traditionally organizes a wonderful island wide Clean Up. The National Trust team participates annually. This year we would encourage everyone to still join the movement by cleaning up the area around your home and or neighbourhood, all while respecting safe social distancing and curfew requirements. Use your 90 minutes of exercise to do something good for your environment! Please share your photos of your trash collection on our social media platforms.
