BCQS International announces director appointment

Jeremy Superfine

BCQS International, the leading Property and Development Consultancy of its kind in the Caribbean region and Latin America announced today the promotion of Associate Director and Chartered Surveyor, Jeremy Superfine to the position of Director, based in the BCQS Grand Cayman office.

“Jeremy’s qualifications and experience are tailored for this position and we are delighted to recognize the contribution he has made to BCQS’ overall growth and development”, said Managing Director, Liam Day in announcing the appointment. “Since joining the company in 2002, Jeremy has demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking, and has a proven track record of providing our clients with high quality professional services.”

Jeremy specialises in construction project management, cost management and contract management and has extensive experience in project co-ordination, contract administration, risk and value management, market valuations, fund monitoring, insurance assessments and loss adjustment. He has been involved in a number of high profile landmark projects with BCQS in the Cayman Islands, including Bayshore Mall, the Morritts Wembly building, Cayman Turtle Farm, the Barcadere Marina, the National Gallery and Willow House at Cricket Square, which is currently under construction.

“I have enjoyed working on many projects in the Cayman Islands,” said Jeremy. “The variety of work keeps it interesting, having had the opportunity to work on multi-million dollar new build projects, major hurricane damage reinstatement works, and retail and office fit-outs,” adding, “I’m proud to have maintained long-term relationships with a number of clients by providing a reliable, efficient service. Working in other parts of the Caribbean has also added to my experience and has proven valuable in advising some clients on various construction and property related issues.”

With BCQS’ Caribbean wide footprint and this year’s expansion into Trinidad & Tobago, Jeremy’s appointment will help in maintaining a focus on the Cayman market. Additionally, with the recent appointment of Michael McGrath as Head of Valuations for BCQS, Jeremy will play a key role in the growth of valuation and other professional services in Cayman and within the region.

Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Reading, England and is a Professional Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, being a member of the Project Management, Construction & Quantity Surveying, Facilities Management and Valuation Professional Groups.
