1. Death Valley, California
Death Valley has the highest recorded temperatures on the planet, but if you plan your visit accordingly (not in the summer), its canyons and windswept dunes make a delightful vacation backdrop.

Any trip down under should account for higher temperatures than most travellers are accustomed to on a regular basis, especially when visiting the Outback.

3. Argentina
Argentina has the highest recorded temperature of anywhere in South America, but many places, including Buenos Aires, actually enjoy quite moderate temperatures year round.

5. Aruba
In addition to its average 30 plus degree temperatures Aruba is the sunniest island in the Caribbean and lies just below the Hurricane Belt.

6. Curacao
Often touted as the Caribbean’s “best kept secret”, this beautiful island just off the coast of Venezuela has 30 plus temps and a healthy dose of island charm.

7. Trinidad
Here temperatures hover around 31 degrees, and each island delivers its own distinct experience be it the industrious Tobago or the palmy and balmy Trinidad.

8. Indonesia
This 17,000-island display sandwiched between the Indian and Pacific oceans boasts 30 degree weather in addition to its beautiful temples and scalable volcanoes.
