SHOCKING DETAILS ABOUT THE OMOV, ONE MAN ONE VOTE

The proposed Cayman Islands One Man One Vote System is controversial and has far too many holes and no stoppers. OMOV  will only establish electoral boundaries, a Political Geography of Immigration Controls  as a Fast Developing Country. A small population of only 53,000 people and only  15,000 registered voters  30 to 35,000 of which are expats.  The domestic political sources is perceived and birthed from immigration policies that puts emphasis on the country’s open boarders door policies leading to fast development and over population that is very damaging. It is established worldwide that immigrant communities are geographically more populated. This means to politicians that large immigrant groups can indeed “SWING” a national election from one party to another. The larger the immigrant constituency, the more power or greater is the influence of the immigrant living in those electoral boundaries  in the political arena.

Today, it is encouraging to note that some local constituents  have are  rethinking the proposed  OMOV One Man One Vote!  that it is not the best deal available to us. Some of you are now acknowledging the consequences and loss of political power.  The local journalists and talk show hosts continue to  play  footsie with the minds of the people simply because they truly do not understand what the consequences of this OMOV really will entail.

Consequences

Caymanians and others that resided in other countries (where OMOV is the system of voting) should honestly make every effort to do their part to “Protect Caymanians from this dangerous OMOV.” Dr. McField a Sociologist should lead the way, and explain why, this OMOV will hurt our people as he is duly qualified to do so from a sociopolitical perspective citing grave consequences for our people that will lose political power to expats who want to run the country. They will look out for the interest of their own people. It will be too late, and no turning back.

Politicians on both sides and center should tell the truth and perhaps should be challenged to sign a sworn affidavit to the truth “in detail,” about what really happens where the one man one vote  system of voting is concerned, and exactly where it will really take Caymanians.

e.g. Does anyone have any idea why we now have Little Haiti and Little Havana in Miami, Florida?
It is a direct result” of the divided electoral boundary system that has pushed these foreign nationals,  to the very top of the political power once held by Americans!  Is that what Caymanians want?

Here in Cayman, expats are now  talking about running for office because they outnumber us already and they are organizing!

Here’s how it happens; The foreign nationals in the U.S. state of Florida under this same divided destructive system;  elected themselves into government and  are now in charge, they have  changed the local people’s history and constitution as a result there is; A Haitian Mayor in N. Miami, and thousands of Cuban Legislators looking out only for the sole interest of  Cubans who rule Miami Florida with an “Iron Hand.”

These people are immigrants from Communist Cuba IN CHARGE OF U.S. local and state GOVERNMENT! and may possibly become America’s first Cuban Vice President, on the Republican side because of this same OMOV system that has disenfranchised Americans to joblessness and loss of political power in their own country. These are not tales from the crypt, this is real, and I say this without bias or prejudice in hope of showing the Caymanian people  the true picture of what they are facing with this  “Rushed OMOV petition” that should be replaced by a NATIONAL VOTE that has no restrictions on voters on where they live, and who they can vote for. A National Vote is  truly a democratic system.

Consequences of the OMOV; Americans are now the Indians on a reservations and almost a dirty word, because of electoral boundary division, and foreigners dominating those boundaries.  It is almost impossible to find employment! These new immigrant national demographics are people that have organized themselves and now have full political control of the local and state government and commerce and they have the jobs tied up! “For Themselves”

Because they are now the GOVERNMENT!

My fellow Caymanians THAT IS WHAT ELECTORAL BOUNDARIES WILL DO FOR CAYMAN These two politicians for East End and North Side have never lived in a country where a fully operational single member constituency is the system of voting. They have lived only in their little district. This  is not acceptable and not enough experience to push this OMOV down the people’s throats; Only to push and enlighten expats to demand the right to run for office dominating the electoral boundaries! that’s how silly this One man One vote is in a small country with a very small population where Caymanians are already “Outnumbered”  But again, politicians as usual s think only of themselves! Not the people.

A national vote would indeed allow voters to vote for the individual of their choice and not be forced to vote or not vote for candidates that are not qualified to lead at all.

It is possible that the OMOV system can give birth to electing people who may not be qualified to lead at all. Whereas the consensus of the entire population under a National Vote system will ensure that we elect the best and most brilliant minds.

Ask yourselves the question before going to the polls:

Is this myth that getting rid of the premier and 3 West Bayers more important than keeping political control in the hands of Caymanians?

I hope I don’t have to come back with I TOLD YOU SO!

ON JULY 18TH, STAY HOME !

OR COME OUT AND VOTE NO!

Second Letter:

OMOV  is not showing the people both sides of the coin.
Cayman is much too small for a One Man One Vote electoral system of voting. Maybe we need change but certainly not OMOV.  If we were not outnumbered 3 to 1 by expats maybe we could take a chance but under the present circumstances where expats are the fastest  growing demographics here in Cayman we had better not even remotely consider the OMOV.
Reason:
Expats already a force to reckon with will control electoral boundaries by the thousands. They will demand the right to run for office regardless if they are born in the Cayman Islands or not. They will go back to the same drawing board they used to  demand immigration concessions, removing the rollover policy, etc. More importantly  expats will groom their own expat leaders for office emerging from those electoral boundaries they occupy by the tens of thousands!   Not one of these politicians on either side nor center is honest enough to explain the details surrounding the OMOV to you; if they did, you would not go near the polls and they would lose your vote now, and in 2013! Politicians are not fond of telling people the truth.
CONSEQUENCES
When the foreigners start whipping your behinds and control the entire legislature. Don’t say a word, TAKE IT LIKE A MAN! TAKE IT LIKE A WOMAN, and don’t complain. You were warned.
Gordon Barlow is laughing, laughing, laughing! At our people acting out of ignorance .
This entire campaign is all about selfish, self seeking, insufferable  Career Politicians who are simply securing  their position while making Caymanian voters insecure citing losing political power over to expats. This has been explained  even on the talk shows and numerous comments warning the people against this dangerous OMOV .
Be true to yourself, A National Vote allows everyone to live where they want to live and vote for whomever they want to vote for.
ON JULY 18TH    STAY HOME
OR COME OUT AND VOTE NO!
