A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of Irvin Garlon Bush.

The arrest took place following a police operation in the Breakers area at around 5.30pm yesterday, Tuesday 17 September 2013.

He was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody while enquiries continue.

A murder investigation has been launched following a fatal shooting in West Bay.

At 10.05pm last night, Sunday 15 September, police responded to a fatal shooting in Miss Daisy Lane, West Bay.

The victim was Irvin Garlon Bush, 52 years of age, of Miss Daisy Lane.

It would appear that he was entering his residence when he was attacked.

A murder investigation has been launched with an incident room to be established at George Town police station. A Family Liaison Officer will be appointed to support the bereaved.
