Triple C School AP Calculus Exam with 100% pass rate

Larson, SamuelAs the school year closes, Triple C School is celebrating a 100% pass rate in their AP Calculus exam. With this pass the students will be able to start university and be exempted from Calculus 1. Advance Placement (AP) Calculus is a rigorous university-level course. In additional to attending the class, each student needed to put in numerous hours outside of the regular school day in order to sit the College Board AP Calculus exam.

Sonia Gordon, AP Calculus Teacher, expressed, “I am happy that the hard work the students and I put in paid off. We met at school several days over holiday periods and also use social media as means to study.” “I must admit I did work a lot more closely with this group due to the intensity of the course, and the students were allowed to WhatsApp questions that they were working on. I would then give them immediate feedback.”

Samuel Larson, Grade 12 student, said, “I’m happy I passed, I love Math but it was a lot of hard work.” Samuel passed at the highest level with a range five. Robert Lankford, Vice-Principal of Secondary Education/Social & Personal Development, shared that, “We are exceptionally proud of our students for the efforts they made to achieve these results.
