It was only last week I was crying in my soup over the shameful acts of all the members of the Legislative Assembly and their inability to realise they represent us and not themselves.

The hogwash of utterances from both sides of the benches were sickening and can be likened to a squabble between youngsters over whose bat and ball it is and who bats and bowls first.

I had given up and sounded the last rites on democracy when ……

Every member of the Legislative Assembly adopted the name of Hill!

McKeeva Hill. McLaughlin Hill. Miller Hill and so on.

A piece of music played at the LA last Monday and it was from “The Sound of Music”.

“The Hills are Alive for the Sound of Music” it played and I sang out aloud along with the beautiful sound.

Two motions got amended and were passed unanimously by the whole House!

Her Excellency The Governor was quick to agree with the first motion but was not so convinced about the second one. Probably another Chief from the United Kingdom will have to deal with that.

However, all smiles after a very long day with posturing from you know who and backed up by you also know who but commonsense prevailed in the end… Or maybe it was the lateness of the hour,
