The car with the Cayman name

What Car? The self proclaimed “Britain’s biggest and best car buyer’s guide” gives this review of the sports car that carries proudly our country’s name:

PORSCHE CAYMAN COUPE

For Everything about the way Porsche Cayman drives is fantastic and the occupants and their luggage are all accommodated brilliantly. Residual values are excellent

Against Dashboard could be clearer and simpler to use; supplies are limited, so you may have to wait to get one

Finally we leave you with what the Target Price team (also on the What Car? Website) says about “OUR” car

The Porsche Cayman is one of the best driver’s cars in the world, and if you can afford it, it’s at its best as the S, with a larger, more powerful engine that makes the car much better, but without costing too much more.

Thanks to the Porsche personalisation programme, you can specify a car almost entirely to your wishes and which will be hand-built by the company’s own craftsmen.

Likewise, if you want to, you can also collect your car from the factory in Germany, with a tour of the company’s museum thrown in. And, after the opening of the Driving Experience Centre at Silverstone, anyone who buys a new Cayman is eligible for a course at the centre as part of the buying package.
