Simeon Panov to headline “Music on the Menu” concert

Cayman Arts festivalInternational concert pianist and operatic tenor, Simeon Panov, will be performing at the Luca Restaurant, 7-Mile Beach, West Bay Road, Grand Cayman, at the Cayman Arts Festival’s “Music on the Menu”.

Simeon Panov is a music teacher at the Cayman Music School.

Mr. Panov received his Master of Music Degree in Performing Arts from the National Music Academy “Pancho Vladiguerov” – Sofia, Bulgaria in 2004.

Mr. Panov was Laureate of many international piano competitions including: Dimitar Nenov, Lilly & Ferdi sp_largeStatzer, Seiler, Konzerteum, Yuri Boukoff. He performed solo with numerous chamber and symphonic orchestras throughout Europe and Middle East.

Mr. Simeon studied vocal under Rumen Doykov – one of Europe’s most well-known tenors and famous for his belcanto vocal technique.

Mr. Panov’s teaching methods are based on the accurate reading of the musical material, developing analytic view, fast music memorizing and the technical excellence. Many of Simeon’s former students have been taking their Masters Degree and have performed internationally, winning a number of music competitions.

glen_inangaAlso performing in the concert will be Music Lecturer and pianist, Glen Inanga, who will also accompany M. Panov when he is singing.

Mr. Inanga joined the University College Cayman Islands (UCCI) in 2007, and developed music courses for the Associate Degree, Certificate and Continuing Education Programmes.

Music on the Menu commences at 6:30pm on Thursday 24th January, with cocktails and canapés followed by the concert performance at 7:30pm. Then a 3-course dinner with wine will be served.
