Rotary seeking international partners

rotary-projectOn behalf of Rotary International District 7020 welcome to our International Project Partnership Portal.

District 7020 comprises 84 Rotary Clubs, including two e-clubs, on 16 islands and 10 Countries located in the beautiful English, French and Dutch speaking Northern Caribbean, including Jamaica, Haiti, Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, US Virgin Islands – including St. Thomas, St. Croix and St. John, St Maarten, St. Martin, Anguilla, St. Barths and Turks & Caicos. District 7020’s communities are diverse, their needs are substantial and whilst our clubs are doing a great job in meeting them, we urgently need your help, by twinning and partnering with the great clubs throughout District 7020.

Each of our clubs has been invited to submit projects, which meet the needs of their communities, to this web portal and our aim is to enable them to twin with international partner clubs and districts to meet these oftentimes urgent and dire community needs throughout the Caribbean.

District 7020 and our clubs pride ourselves on being strong, reliable partners delivering SMART projects to our communities. Our SMART projects are:

Sustainable

Measurable

Accountable

Real community needs

Transparent

We take our responsibilities as a host District, including our clubs’ new grant model qualification and our District’s stewardship and audit obligations, very seriously and will ensure that your partnership experience with us will be a smooth one, producing sustainable and measurable results and meeting real community needs.

The projects listed in this portal include those which may qualify for Global Grants and others, such as those under the US$30,000 minimum threshold or that involve construction, that don’t. In all cases, our District will hold our clubs accountable and only clubs, which are currently qualified and have signed the MoU for Global Grants will be able to list their projects here.

As one of our valued partners or prospective partners, we’d encourage you to make contact with our clubs or if you prefer, our District team at the e-mail addresses below:

DG Jeremy Hurst: [email protected]

DGE Paul Brown: [email protected]

Use the search box to find the projects you’re interested in or click on a country flag below for a country-specific list of projects at the bottom of the page. We look forward to hearing from you, working with you and encouraging you to visit our beautiful islands, so you can get to know District 7020’s Rotarians, make new friendships and meet the communities and people, whose lives we can change as we come together in service.

So let’s Engage Rotary – Change Lives in……. Jamaica, Haiti, Bahamas, The Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, US Virgin Islands, St. Thomas, St. Croix, St. John, St Maarten, St. Martin, Anguilla, St. Barts and Turks & Caicos!
