Just past 4AM this morning, Thursday, 11 May, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre dispatched police to a report of a robbery at Reflections Food for Less on MacLendon Drive in George Town. A few minutes before, a man with his face covered, and armed with what appeared to be a handgun, had entered the store and demanded cash.  He made off with cash from the register in the direction of the Mango Tree Bar and Restaurant on Crewe Road.  No shots were fired and no one was harmed in the incident.

Police obtained a description of the armed man as follows:

About 5’5” tall

Light brown complexion

Wearing a black shirt over his head and with a cap on his head
