RCIPS recruitment day – Cayman Brac

As the RCIRCIPS_OFFICER RECRUITMENT_WEB BANNER (RCIPS WEBSITE - GENERIC SIZE)PS recruitment campaign enters its final ten days, the date for the Cayman Brac open day has been announced.

The event will take place at the Cayman Brac police station on Saturday, 26 October, from 10.30am until 1.00pm. Representatives from various departments within the Service will be there to answer questions about the opportunities available in the RCIPS and the recruitment process.

Chief Superintendent Kurt Walton, who is from Cayman Brac, is keen to see as many people as possible attend. “If you are interested in applying to join the RCIPS then this will be an ideal opportunity for you to talk directly to serving officers about what they do on a daily basis,” he said. “You will learn about the range of departments we have in the Service as well as what you can expect during the 16 week training programme. If you think the RCIPS is for you then you won’t want to miss the open day next Saturday, 26 October. We look forward to seeing you there.”

The RCIPS is currently recruiting for new officers. Those applying must be Caymanian or have permanent residency. They must also be between the ages of 18 and 30 (on 31 March 2014).

Details of the recruitment drive, which ends on 31 October, can be found at www.rcips.ky/newrecruits <http://www.rcips.ky/newrecruits> or by emailing [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>
