Tropical Storm Beryl:

Indications all morning and into early this afternoon are that Beryl is tightening up and strengthening according to radar and satellite imagery. I do have concerns Beryl will be a hurricane when it comes ashore this evening across northeast Florida. This is something that I will be watching very closely and will update everyone on the latest.

I strongly urge everyone across northeastern Florida and southeastern Georgia to be prepared for hurricane conditions even though Hurricane Warnings are not posted.
