Past Rotary Club of Cayman Presidents Day
From Chris Johnson
On Thursday the Rotary Club held their annual Past Presidents day where Past President Eric Bush chaired the meeting ably assisted by other Past Presidents in the running the meeting. There was a large turn out of past presidents as evidenced by the photograph and one taken of the longest serving Rotarians in the Cayman Islands all of whom are past presidents of the club whose service totals over 150 years. They are Bill McTaggart, Chris Johnson, Ned Miller and Eddie Balderamos.
Guest speaker of the day was Guy Harvey who held the attendees interest by talking about his experience and knowledge of sting ray city, the Lion Fish problem and the Cayman fishing environment. His talk was very well received and certainly left the audience pondering about the fishing environment and the action or lack of action by the Cayman Government as regards his concerns.
