MaplesFS recently donated US$15,000 to the Sunrise Caring Association to facilitate the purchase of materials and equipment for specialised programmes at the Sunrise Adult Training Centre (“SRC”).

Established in 1986, the SRC provides opportunities for adults with disabilities to become responsible and productive residents. This is achieved through life-skills courses, pre-vocational training, supervised job placements and recreational and fitness activities.

“We are pleased to support the SRC in their efforts to give persons with disabilities independence,” said MaplesFS CEO, Scott Somerville. “We hope that this donation will provide a positive impact on the lives of special needs individuals within our community”.

The Maples group is committed to many initiatives across the Cayman Islands, but is particularly supportive of organisations that focus on helping those in need.
