Local Charities Benefit from Maples and Calder’s Casual Fridays

Dressing casually for work on Fridays may be an added perk that many take for granted. However the staff at Maples and Calder have the opportunity to take it one step further and regularly contribute to various charities on a monthly basis in the form of these dress down days. Each month a donation is made by employees for the freedom to depart from mainstream business attire on Fridays, the amount of which is then matched by Maples and Calder and donated to a selection of local charities.

For the month of April the NCVO and Hope for Today Foundation’s Halfway House Bridge Programme each received a donation of US$2,757.20. A total of US$5,709.58 was given to Feed our Future in the month of May, and Rotary Club of Grand Cayman was a chosen recipient of June’s donation for various projects.

Maples and Calder actively supports a broad range of organisations which benefit members of our community, including the youth and the elderly.
