Linzi Hatley stars in the new video episode from The Theatre Channel

‘The Theatre Channel is a unique web series that brings theatre into the home in an innovative way that will leave you hitting the replay button again and again’ – Broadway World 

Launched at the beginning of October The Theatre Channelis new web series showcasing beloved classics from the musical theatre canon, performed by award-winning actors who’ve graced the international stage in HamiltonKinky BootsLes MisérablesSixSunday in the Park with GeorgeWaitress, and many more.
 
Each episode is staged and filmed with high production values on location at The Theatre Café in the heart of London’s West End, making full use of the whole space – from the bar seating area all the way up to the roof – and features a mix of 5-6 standalone performances, Many of the performances will be supported by the Café Foura reoccurring background cast made up of other West End talents.

The first two episodes are now available for download with a third due to be released at the end of November.

“Welcome to the Cafe” – Episode One  sets the scene for this five star web series showcasing some of musical theatre’s best loved classics.

Episode Two is a special horror themed episode with songs from DraculaCarrie, and Jekyll and Hyde as well a special interview content.

British musical theatre legend Linzi Hateley revisits the musical that launched her career at the age of seventeen when she played the title role in Carrie in Stratford and on Broadway; performing the number “When There’s No One” – returning to the show as Carrie’s mother, the role originally performed by Barbara Cook and Betty Buckley.

Other performers in this episode will include: Bradley Jaden (Les Misérables, Wicked) and Sophie Isaacs (Six, Heathers: The MusicalJosh Piterman (The Phantom of the Opera).
