Minister for Health Hon. Osbourne V. Bodden, JP and Deputy Governor Franz Manderson paid a special visit to the staff of Mosquito Research & Control Unit (MRCU) last Friday, 5th December, 2014.

During the tour the visitors praised staff for their efforts to control the local spread of the chikungunya virus.

Mr Ricardo Caballero, Disease Prevention Officer with MRCU, was on hand to briefly demonstrate the process of mosquito spraying.

As a further expression of gratitude, the Ministry of Health treated MRCU staff members to a luncheon on the day.
