 Ministry Associate for Youth Work

The successful candidate will be required to provide visionary leadership for our ministry to Children and Youth geared at producing young adults who have been led to Christ, as Saviour, and are nurtured into a growing relationship with Him.

S/he would be responsible to…

• Provide direction and encourage focus on the overall ministry strategy of the Church.

• Oversee the development and implementation of Action Plan for the youth ministry.

• Recruit, train and supervise volunteer.

• Co-ordinate all youth ministry initiatives/activities.

• Explore, encourage and facilitate opportunities for mission engagement by youth.

• Provide counselling support to children and youth.

S/he must…

• Be a mature, practicing Christian with a solid testimony.

• Love and respect children and young people.

• Possess tertiary training preferably in youth ministries/education and theology.

• Be able to multitask and deal effectively with stressors and deadlines.

• Be an effective administrator.

• Be competent in the use of relevant computer programs and software.

• Have good interpersonal skills.

• Have the energy and personality to work with youth.

• Be creative [competence in the performing arts would be an asset].

• Have a clean police record.
