Ironwood signs Cayman Islands building company Arch and Godfrey as town centre contractor

Press Release ImageGEORGE TOWN, Grand Cayman. Ironwood has signed with local contractor, Arch and Godfrey, as lead contractor for the development of the Town Center. This appointment supports Ironwood’s continued commitment to engage with local companies with a track record of high quality work, throughout the duration of the construction of the development.

Ironwood Project Director, James McVey, commented: “We are extremely pleased to announce Arch and Godfrey as our contractor of choice for our Town Center construction. They are an established Cayman company with more than enough talent and capacity to deliver the high quality product that we have planned for the centrepiece of Ironwood. Strong relationships with good people is the most important component in putting together any project team and we welcome them to Ironwood”.

The Town Center will be the commercial anchor of Ironwood and will benefit surrounding communities with shopping conveniences, entertainment, and job and business opportunities. Work is anticipated to commence simultaneously with the East-West Arterial construction and is expected to be complete within months of the road’s completion.
