HBO announces its October Movie Lineup for the Caribbean

 

 

Crazy, Stupid, Love.  (Warner Bros. Pictures) – After 25 years of marriage, Cal Weaver’s (Steve Carell) life has completely deteriorated. His wife, Emily (Julianne Moore), confesses to cheating and wants a divorce. Jacob Palmer (Ryan Gosling), a pick-up line connoisseur who meets no resistance when dealing with the ladies, transforms and teaches Cal how to approach women. Jacob and Cal establish a genuine and amusing friendship that offers life lessons to both. Directed by: Glenn Ficarra and John Requa.

 

 

Green Lantern (Warner Bros. Pictures) – The universe has been protected by a brotherhood of warriors known as the ‘Green Lantern Corps.’ Intergalactic order has always been kept by the Green Lanterns, who receive their superpowers from a magical ring. Enemy Parallax threatens to end the world, with the only hope for survival lying in the hands of Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds), the first human recruit of the Green Lanterns. Real Steel (DreamWorks Pictures) – Charlie Kenton (Hugh Jackman) stars as a failed boxer who loses the chance of being champion when two massive robots seize the ring. Set in the future, where times have changed, Charlie and his son Max (Dakota Goyo) create and train a robot that will be their last hope to win. Directed by: Shawn Levy.

 

 

    Fright Night (Touchstone Pictures) – In Tom Holland’s 1985 remake of the horror film Fright Night, Charley Brewster (Anton Yelchin) suspects that Jerry Dandrige (Colin Farrell) is more than just a new neighbor and really a vampire living next door. Directed by: Craig Gillespie.
