a videogame break_0994At playChildren and teens around the Islands are enjoying a slate of summer sports camps, hosted by coaches from the Department of Sports.

The morning camps train children, aged seven to 16, in football, netball, cricket and basketball. The locations and sports offered in these free camps change each week; the Bodden Town football camp is ongoing this week (July 27 to August 1).

In addition to learning more about the sports, the young people are able to interact with each other and make new friends.

The remaining camps, which still have spaces open, are next week’s Cayman Brac basketball camp, Defence_0985the East End football camp, and a basketball camp at Camana Bay (August 3-7); two cricket camps (August 10-14 and 17-21); and the North Side football camp (August 17-21).
