Eric Rivers, a victim in the Accent Signage Systems shooting, was taken off life support on Wed (10) and it was later confirmed the following day from his family that he has sadly died.

Eric Rivers had been in critical condition since the shooting in Minneapolis Sept. 27.

CITN/Cayman 27 spoke with some of Rivers’ family before they left Grand Cayman to fly to Minnesota to be by his bedside.

Wednesday night, Hennepin County Medical Center released a family statement thanking emergency responders, people for their prayers and asking for privacy.

Seven people, including the gunman, have now been killed during the shooting rampage.
