Comedian Steve Martin sells picturesque Caribbean villa

Comedian and actor Steve Martin has sold his four-bedroom villa in the Caribbean two years after putting it on the market.

The house, perched atop a hill on the island of St Barthelemy​, was last listed at €7.25 million ($11.05 million), according to Sotheby’s​ International Realty.

The home, aptly named Villa Au Soleil, is shaped in the form of a V, to make the most of the jaw-dropping coastal views – see images

The airy communal living room and kitchen area is flanked by two wings, each with its own two bedrooms.

The master bedroom has its own private wooden deck with a built-in jacuzzi, while on the other wing, each bedroom comes with its own outdoor shower.
