Close to 30,000 tickets sold for 2024 Concacaf W Gold Cup Final at Snapdragon Stadium Sun Mar 10

San Diego, CA (Saturday, March 9, 2024) – Concacaf has announced that close to 30,000 tickets have been sold for the 2024 Concacaf W Gold Cup Final on March 10 at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, CA. Sunday’s championship match between the women’s national teams of the United States and Brazil is scheduled to kick off at 8:15 pm ET (5:15 pm PT/local).

Fans are invited to arrive early to avoid traffic and long waits and to stop by the Final’s official Concacaf W Gold Cup Fan Zone presented by Toyota. The Fan Zone will feature appearances from former players, the Concacaf W Gold Cup trophy, giveaways, and interactive games. The Fan Zone will be open from 1-5 pm local time and is located on Victory Drive on the East Side of Snapdragon Stadium.

As part of the Final’s opening ceremony, fans will be entertained by a live performance of the Concacaf W Gold Cup’s Official Anthem, “Vamos” (watch the official music video here). The anthem will be performed by renowned Universal Music artists Sofía Castro, Fiamma, Alexis Gomez, and Pitizion.

Fans will also be able to follow and enjoy the 2024 W Gold Cup Final through the Confederation’s TV partner networks, including CBS | Paramount+ (USA-English), ESPN (USA-Spanish, Mexico, Central America, Caribbean, and South America), and the Concacaf Official Platforms for all other territories (subject to territory restrictions).

The Concacaf W Gold Cup’s inaugural edition kicked off with a six-team Preliminary Round on February 17. This was followed by the tournament’s 12-team Group Stage across three venues – Dignity Health Sports Park (Group A), Snapdragon Stadium (Group B), and Shell Energy Stadium (Group C), from February 20 to 28. After round-robin play, the group winners (Mexico, Brazil, Canada), runners-up (United States, Colombia, Paraguay), and the two best third-place finishers (Argentina, Costa Rica) advanced to the Knockout Stage. 

The Quarterfinals were played on March 2 and 3 at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, CA, and saw Canada, Brazil, Mexico, and the United States secure a spot in the final four. 

The two Semifinals were played in San Diego on March 6. The United States and Brazil advanced to the Final following a 3-1 penalty shootout win versus Canada (2-2 following extra time) and a 3-0 victory over Mexico, respectively.
