Then don’t forget our very full cat room and pay a visit.  If you are looking for a kitten or an older cat of any description, you can guarantee we’ll have it. To the point of closing the doors, there had been an upsurge in kittens who will all need homes. Space in the cat room remains critical for new admissions.

The feel good story for this week…………..

This is why we all do what we do.  Early this week, one of CIHS good friends saw a 946573_10151414406700458_1182834023_n3e6435922757_10151414406720458_366965240_n080e65puppy in distress to the point of being unlikely to survive the living conditions, which is the photograph on the left.  Recovered by Sarah and Janette, given immediate aid by Doctor John at the shelter, within 48 hours of intensive foster care at Janette’s house, Vali was looking and behaving like a different dog to the point of being unrecognisable.  These two photographs are 48 hours apart!  But the happy conclusion, Vali goes to a forever home tomorrow after a sleepover last night.  Even with the shelter full, the work never stops.

THANK YOU, YOU ARE STARS.
