Police can now confirm that the motorcyclist involved in the collision that took place just after 6:20AM, 25 April, a 28-year-old-man of George Town, has succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by the attending doctor at the Cayman Islands Hospital. The RCIPS offers sincere condolences to the family of the deceased. 

A 53-year-old-man of George Town was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and has since bailed pending further investigation.

This fatal collision is being investigated by the police and anyone with information is encouraged to call the Traffic and Roads Policing Unit at 649-6254 or the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
