Cayman says “Fuzzy Pickles and Cheese with SpotShots” in SpotCayman App

SpotCayman[prMac.com] Toronto, Canada – The Developers of the SpotCayman app have done it again! Always improving their app and being pioneers of innovation, Conch Pearl Media knocks it out of the park in the travel app category with their newest feature, SpotShots. Users living in or visiting Cayman can now upload their pictures of the Cayman Islands to the SpotCayman 4.0 app for fellow users to enjoy. All pictures are GPS mapped so that future visitors to Cayman can easily find and experience the same spots on their vacation.

President of Conch Pearl Media, Lisa Butcher, says, “We want our users to have the best app experience available. We believe that apps should have magic! Our app is one of the few in the app market that can update dynamically. This means we can have a new spot or change in our app within five minutes. Now we are taking user interaction to a whole new level. When users take a picture in the Cayman Islands using the Camera App, they can upload this picture to the SpotCayman app in a few simple steps. The picture comes to us with the GPS co-ordinates so that we can place it on our maps for future visitors to find and experience. We accomplish two goals, beautiful and genuine photos in our app and continued and improved spot discoverability for our users.”

SpotShots is not the only useful feature users will find when they download the app. Along with all hotels in Cayman, businesses, shopping, restaurants, dive sites and attractions in Cayman, SpotCayman flaunts its easy to use technology. With full offline maps, tappable phone numbers and websites, email addresses, searchable keywords, and handy share features a user can be happy with this free app. But another piece of magic is SpotsNearby. This super handy feature shows a spot, or SpotShot, and then shows the users all of the spots within a 1km radius.

Butcher, who worked in the hotel industry, comments, “People always want to know what is in walking distance from their hotel or a restaurant. With the SpotCayman app, we have taken the guess work out of trip planning.”

Recently, the SpotCayman app was featured on Cayman27 news. Capitalizing on the exposure, Conch Pearl Media has begun a “Name Your Price” promotion in a bid to get more businesses in Cayman adding a premium listing with their details, extra pictures and deals in the app.

In closing, Butcher says, “We are very keen to put everything that the Cayman Islands has to offer visitors and locals alike on the map! We are providing the tools to make everything as easy and efficient as possible. We are asking the traveling community and business community in the Cayman Islands for help to make the SpotCayman app the best and most comprehensive free resource out there.”
