Cayman: RCIPS Criminal Records and Firearms Applications – Update 3 November

From RCIPS

3rd November, 2020

UPDATE (3 November):

The RCIPS wishes to remind the public that the online application process for Police Clearance Certificates is now back online. Applications for Police Clearance Certificates are to be submitted online at www.eservices.gov.ky, and all other applications can be submitted via the RCIPS website at https://www.rcips.ky/forms. Completed documents can be returned to applicants via email or registered mail.

Due to the recent fire incident, the public is also advised that there may be a longer turnaround time than usual for these documents. While the targeted standard time is now fourteen (14) business days, as we are working through a backlog of applications, the actual turnaround time may be longer. Additional resources have been assigned to ensure processes are carried out in as timely a manner as possible. We will contact you at your provided contact details to inform you when you can collect your documents.

For queries please contact the Criminal Records Office at 945-4924 or by email at [email protected].

To contact our Professional Standards Unit call 649-5300, 5301, 5302, or 5303, or email at[email protected].

The RCIPS Business Centre Offices remains closed to the public as a result of damages to the location resulting from the fire on Monday, 26 October.
