At about 1:30AM on Monday, 13 November, officers received a report that there had been an altercation inside a nightclub on Canal Point Drive, in the Strand Entertainment Complex, and a man with a firearm had been seen. Officers attended and conducted enquiries but the persons involved, including a male who had apparently been assaulted, appeared to have already left the location. Officers made further checks in the surrounding area but neither the victim nor suspect(s) were located.

The matter is currently under investigation and anyone with any information, particularly the victim of this incident, is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 949-4222.
