The Trade and Business Licensing Board will hold its last meeting of the year on Thursday, 10 December and will resume its meetings on Tuesday, 12 January 2016, according to Board Chairman Garth Arch.

However, throughout December, staff in the Trade and Business Licensing Unit will continue to respond to questions, accept applications for grants and renewals, and collect all associated payments.

The Business Licensing Counter, formerly known as the Trade and Business Licensing Counter, is located on the first floor of the Government Administration Building. Opening hours are 9am to 4pm, Mondays to Fridays. Trade and business licensing forms and general information also are available at www.dci.gov.ky.

The counter falls under the remit of the Department of Commerce and Investment (DCI). For Christmas, DCI’s Grand Cayman office, including the counter, will close at noon on Thursday, 24 December, and reopen at 9am on Tuesday, 29 December. On New Year’s Eve, the office and the counter will close at noon on Thursday, 31 December, and reopen at 9am on Monday, 4 January, 2016.

DCI’s Cayman Brac office will close as of Monday, 14 December, and will re-open at 9am on Monday, 4 January, 2016.
