UPDATE: Burglary Cayman Brac Liquor Store

Today the Cayman Brac Police arrested two 17 year old males on suspicion of Burglary/Handling Stolen Goods.

Following on from the arrests, several properties were searched on the Brac by Police with the assistance of Customs and Special Constabulary which resulted in the recovery of a large quantity of liquor suspected to be stolen from Coral Isle Bar.

Chief Inspector Owens said, “AGAIN I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE PUBLIC FOR THE INFORMATION SUPPLIED TO THE POLICE AND OUR GOVERNMENT PARTNER AGENCIES FOR THEIR EXCELLENT SUPPORT”.

Cayman Islands stabbing [on Eastern Avenue]

The 911 Emergency Centre received a report of a stabbing about 2:02 am on the Saturday 2 August 2014 at a premises on Eastern Avenue. One male victim was transported to the George Town Hospital and is undergoing treatment. One male adult has been arrested on Suspicion of committing Grievous Bodily Harm and is being interviewed by the George Town Criminal Investigation Department.
