The Cayman Islands Cycling Association is your premier source for cycling events, results, training tips, pictures and much more. We organize various cycling events throughout the year, including the Cayman Classic Series, Cayman Islands National Road Race Championships and the National Time Trial Championships. Additionally, our friends at the Cayman Islands Triathlon Association organize the Duathlon and the Cayman Island Triathlon. These events are popular among many of our local cyclists, who participate either on their own or as a team member. We support and encourage the continued development of an active cycling community here in the Caribbean.

A surprising destination for cycling to some, the warm climate and fairly flat topography of the Cayman Islands makes it ideal for both recreational and competitive cycling. We look forward to sharing the road with you.

This year the Dew Cycling Classics series fifth and final event was won by Michele Smith with 48 points.

Smith beat second-place finisher Jerome Ameline by one second to win the race and the series.

Speaking in CITN/Cayman27 Smith said, “My tactic was to go out hard and try to separate the group. I felt that if I went out for about 10 minutes hard that I could split the entire group and maybe kind of discourage them in a sense. They would’ve gave up and then I would’ve had a chance to lap the field, which I did.”
