Cayman: George Town Man charged with Five Offenses

A 25-year-old man of George Town was re-arrested on 17th June in relation to an incident that originally took place on 27 May where the man was arrested on suspicion of possession and consumption of ganja, causing fear or provocation of violence and other related offences.

He had been bailed for enquires to continue and on 17th June was re-arrested before being formally charged on 19th June with Conspiracy to Supply a Controlled Drug, Conspiracy to Possess Firearms, Possession of Ammunition and two counts of Threats to Kill.

The man was subsequently admitted to George Town Hospital but was represented in court on Monday 20th June where he was remanded in custody until 28 June.
