COMPLETES SOUTH AMERICAN FOOTBALL COVERAGE

Sunday, 24th January 2016 –: The Caribbean’s premier sports broadcaster, SportsMax, completes its exclusive coverage of South American football which already includes the Copa America Centenario and the South American FIFA World Cup Qualifiers with the newly acquired Brazilian and Argentine top tier football leagues for the 2016-2019 seasons.

SportsMax will air the Brazilian League Serie A, the Sao Paulo State League and the Rio de Janeiro State League along with the Argentine Primera Division A, Campeonato de Primera Division A and the Copa Argentina.

Famed teams such as River Plate, Boca Juniors and Quilmes from Argentina and Flamengo, Santos and current champions Corinthians from Brazil will feature each week on SportsMax. The action kicks-off on January 30th with the Brazilian League, featuring the top 20 teams in Brazil with the likes of Lucio, Ronaldhino and other Brazilian stars. SportsMax will broadcast live matches from Brazil on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Then on February 7th, the excitement of the Argentine Primera División (First Division) Championship begins, running from February to May. Contested by the country’s top 30 football teams which are broken into two divisions, Boca Juniors are the current title holders.
