An electrical fault in Bodden Town caused a power failure for almost two hours.

Extra police patrols were dispatched in the area during the darkness. 

A spokesman for the RCIPS said: “At approximately 18.30hrs tonight there was a power outage in the Bodden Town area caused by an electrical fault.
 
CUC engineers managed to restore power.
