The medevac was from Little Cayman to Grand Cayman, but requested through Faith Hospital on Cayman Brac

Just before noon on Saturday, 20 February, Faith Hospital on Cayman Brac requested an emergency evacuation to Grand Cayman for a 46-year-old female diver who had nearly drowned and was in need of urgent intensive care. No other options for the transport of the patient were available.

The Air Operations Unit accepted the request and flew to Cayman Brac with an attendant from the HSA. The patient was transported to George Town Hospital by 3:30PM that afternoon and was reported to be in stable condition after receiving the care required.
