MIAMI (Thursday, March 21, 2013) – The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) announced today that tickets to all 2013 Gold Cup matches went on sale to the general public this morning in each of the 13 markets through the tournament’s official website at www.GoldCup.org.

The Rose Bowl will host the opening doubleheader on Sunday, July 7, featuring an encounter between reigning Gold Cup champion Mexico and Panama.

The quarterfinals will take place at Atlanta’s Georgia Dome (July 20) and Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium (July 21); both are first-time tournament hosts.

On Wednesday, July 24, the semifinals will head to Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, TX.  In between the matches of that doubleheader, as a special bonus, the final of the first-ever Interactive Gold Cup will be contested.  For more information on that competition, visit www.concacafinteractive.com.

The grand finale will be played on July 28 at Chicago’s Soldier Field, where the United States defeated Mexico 2-1 in the 2007 championship match.

Taking place every two years, the Gold Cup has established itself as the region’s most popular national team tournament, routinely drawing capacity crowds and millions of television viewers.  It features the best players from the confederation’s top 12 nations. In 2011, the tournament drew more than 600,000 fans throughout 13 match-days, including nine sell-outs.
