From 100+ Women Who Care Cayman Islands

George Town  100+ Women Who Care Cayman Islands will host its third event of 2023 at Guy Harvey’s Boathouse Grill on Thursday, September 28. The giving circle’s goal is to make a huge impact for the people of the Cayman Islands by raising funds for great causes by giving one hour of their time plus a $100 donation.

“We are a group of women who lead busy lives but want to do some good in our local community. Our motto is “together we can achieve more,” said Anna-Maria Kafizas, the Chair of 100+ Women Who Care Cayman Islands. “Bring your ladies, enjoy a massage and a drink, support local charities, and have a fun night out. After a wonderful summer edition with special guest Her Excellency, Governor Jane Owens, we’re delighted that for the upcoming event we’ll be joined by Miss Universe Cayman Ileann Powery.”

Our event starts at 6:00pm, and after donating CI$100 (cash only) all women are welcomed with a goodie bag, raffle ticket, a voting card, and a free drink crafted by Grey Goose Essences. While networking there’s also the opportunity to get a mini massage. At 6:30pm EmCee Vicki Wheaton will kick off the evening, and the three featured charities, namely Cayman Youth Inc, Jasmine, and YMCA Cayman Islands, will present their respective organization’s work in a bid to win votes and walk away with 100% of all donations. The runner-up charities will take home $1,000 each thanks to this event’s platinum sponsor Kirk Freeport.

The rest of the night will be an opportunity to mingle, have fun, and to have a chance to win one of the many fabulous prizes. Special thanks goes to our venue sponsor Market Street Group for hosting this event at the wonderful Guy Harvey’s Boathouse Grill.

About 100+ Women Who Care Cayman Islands

100+ Women Who Care Cayman Islands is a giving circle that started in 2015 and is affiliated with the 100 Who Care Alliance in the US. Thanks to members, local businesses and volunteers, the organization has raised over $350,000 for Cayman charities. In addition to fundraising for great causes, 100+ Women Who Care Cayman Islands also provides a fun and relaxed networking opportunity for women living in Cayman.
