George Town 100+ Women Who Care Cayman Islands will host its second event of 2023 at Guy Harvey’s Boathouse Grill on Thursday, June 29. The giving circle is committed to achieving more together before summer kicks in, by raising funds for great causes within the Cayman community with their ‘Girl’s night out with a difference’ event.

“One hour of your time plus a one-hundred-dollar donation has the power to make a huge impact for the people of the Cayman Islands,” said Anna-Maria Kafizas, the new Chair of 100+ Women Who Care Cayman Islands. “Bring your ladies, enjoy a massage and a drink, support local charities, and have a fun night out. We’re delighted that for this summer edition we’ll be joined by our honorable guest Her Excellency, Governor Jane Owens.”

Our event starts at 6:00pm, and after donating CI$100 all women are welcomed with a goodie bag, raffle ticket, a voting card, and a free drink crafted by Bombay Bramble. While networking there’s also the opportunity to get a massage, henna tattoo, hop into the photobooth, and styling tips at our mini pop-up market of local businesses showcasing their services and products. At 6:30pm EmCee Vicki Wheaton will kick off the evening, and the three featured charities, namely Breast Cancer Foundation – Cayman Islands, Cayman Islands Crisis Centre, and Plastic Free Cayman, will present their respective organization’s work in a bid to win votes and walk away with 100% of all donations. The runner-up charities will take home $1,000 each thanks to this event’s platinum sponsor Health City Cayman Islands.

The rest of the night will be an opportunity to mingle, have fun, and to have a chance to win one of the many fabulous prizes. Special thanks goes to our venue sponsor Market Street Group for hosting this event at the wonderful Guy Harvey’s Boathouse Grill.

About 100+ Women Who Care Cayman Islands

100+ Women Who Care Cayman Islands is a giving circle that started in 2015 and is affiliated with the 100 Who Care Alliance in the US. The group gathers three to four times a year for a one-hour meeting, and each member brings their donation of CI$100 that goes to the selected charity. This combined donation of $10,000+ makes a real impact, without time-consuming fundraising events and planning. Thanks to members, local businesses and volunteers, the organization has raised over $343,000 for Cayman charities. In addition to fundraising for great causes, 100+ Women Who Care Cayman Islands also provides a fun and relaxed networking opportunity for women living in Cayman.
