A man, age 45, of George Town, was charged on 5 February with Obtaining Property by Deception. The man is accused of stealing a significant amount of funds from a local supermarket where he was employed. The man had been arrested on 26 November 2015.

The man was additionally charged last Friday, 12 February, with Obtaining a Pecuniary Advantage by Deception with respect to the same employer.

He will be appearing in court tomorrow for the first time on both charges.
