Walkers helps support fight against HIV and AIDS in Cayman Islands

Walkers Dress DownGeorge Town, Grand Cayman – (11 February 2016) – Walkers staff donated a generous sum in support of the Cayman AIDS Foundation (“CAF”) through an office-wide dress down today. Over 200 Walkers staff participated at both the Elgin Avenue and Hospital Road locations.

The CAF is run by Chief Executive Officer Noel Cayasso-Smith who expressed his gratitude for the funds raised by Walkers staff. “We are very thankful for the charitable donation made by Walkers. This will help us continue to provide the community with educational programmes and materials about HIV, AIDS and other STIs.”

Mr. Cayasso-Smith and his team host free presentations to educate the community about STIs and the CAF regularly attends local events, such as the recent Agriculture Show and Youth Month Celebration, to raise awareness and reinforce the mission of the Foundation.

About CAF CAF is a non-profit organisation dedicated to educating the community about sexually transmitted infections and improving the quality of life of those persons infected and affected by HIV & AIDS in the Cayman Islands.
